Day 1: Arrival Chiang Mai - Doi Suthep - San Kamphaeng - Chiang Mai (110 KM.)<\/h5>

Arrive Chiangmai airport at 06.00 AM., then transfer to hotel for check-in and Breakfast.<\/span><\/p>

Free at leisure after starting off the day in Chiang Mai by giving you an overview of our beautiful city with over 700 years of history. We take the winding road up the side of the hill overlooking the city to visit the most significant temple in Chiang Mai, the 600 year-old <\/span>Wat Phra That Doi Suthep<\/b>, which lies 3,500 feet above sea level. <\/span><\/p>

Inside you will find the symbol of the city, the copper-plated Chedi that is topped by a five-tier gold parasol, which contains relics of the Lord Buddha. <\/span><\/p>

From the terrace on a clear day, you will have a fine panoramic view of the entire city. Once you get there, that final climb up the 306 steps of the Naga staircase (a Thai mythological Dragon-headed serpent) will seem worth it! In the city we will see the King\u2019s glorious flower garden temple at Wat Suan Dok with a large central Stupa and Wat Chedi Luang which consists of an impressive Chedi, originally built in 1411 and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (the most outstanding landmark of Chiang Mai 3,500 feet above sea level). <\/span><\/p>

Afternoon the excursion continues in the<\/span> San Kamphaeng distric<\/b>t, which is home to a myriad of handicraft industries. Silk is a key product, the basis of those gorgeous traditional outfits. Cotton weavers are also prominent as well as craftsmen creating silverware and jewellery, carving wood furniture and sculpting pottery. Thai lacquerware is particularly unusual with its glossy black base and details in gold. After trip drive back to hotel for overnight and dinner.<\/span><\/p>

Day 2: Elephant Camp and Orchid Farm \/ Hill Tribe Village \/ Chiang Rai (320 KM.)<\/h5>

Mae Taman is a 45-minute drive from Chiang Mai but is worlds away otherwise. This verdant valley is the home of an <\/span>elephant camp<\/b>, where these intelligent creatures are cared for by their handlers. Watch when the elephants are fed and then observe their incredible abilities. Asian elephants possess legendary strength and for centuries have been used to drag logs from forests. Some elephants play catch, tossing items with their trunks, and others have even learned to paint and play harmonicas. No matter what you see, like an elephant, you won\u2019t forget this experience. Then join the fun yourself and take an elephant for a ride in the jungle(Optional Tour). High aboard this noble beast with your head brushing the tree leaves, you will feel like the king of the jungle. <\/span><\/p>

Afterwards, recharge those batteries for a ride in an authentic Thai bamboo raft along the Mae Tang River (Optional Tour). <\/span><\/p>

The final stop of this action-packed day is an <\/span>orchid farm<\/b>, a tranquil spot featuring these precious, delicate flowers. The flowers with their explosion of colours, spots and details are exquisite.<\/span><\/p>

Afternoon drive to Chiang Rai to meet northern Thailand hill tribes and explore villages that haven\u2019t changed in centuries. Discover the tribe whose women are known for their <\/span>\u2018long necks<\/b>\u2019 and other peoples such as Akha, Lisu, Lahu, Hmong\u00a0 who will welcome you into their primeval worlds. This is an extremely rare opportunity to learn first-hand about these ancient cultures in a respectful manner.<\/span><\/p>

Day 3: Chiang Rai \/ Golden Triangle \/ Phra-That Phu Khao Temple \/ Chiang Saen \/ Wat Rong Khun \/ Lampang (360 KM.)<\/h5>

Breakfast at hotel. Before departing from \" Chiang Rai Province\"\u00a0 first visit at \u201c<\/span>Golden Triangle\u201d<\/b> which is where the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos meet. Later you\u2019ll take a short hike up to \u201c<\/span>Phra-That Phu Khao Temple<\/b>\u201d where it has a beautiful view of the Golden Triangle. <\/span><\/p>

After the temple you\u2019ll travel by longtail Boat down the Mae-Khong River to the ancient town of <\/span>\u201cChiang Saen<\/b>\u201d. Proceed to \u201cChiang Rai Province\u201d visiting the new <\/span>\u201cWat Rong Khun<\/b>\u201d the temple was built by Mr. Chalermchai Kositpipat, who is the most famous architect in Thailand. This temple was recently built and known as the White Temple, it is made from small pieces of glass. The process to Lampang for overnight and dinner.<\/span><\/p>

Day 4: Lampang \/ Wat Phra That Lampang Luang Temple \/ Sukhothai Historical Park ( 210 KM)<\/h5>

After your American Breakfast. Drive to visit at <\/span>Wat Phra That Lampang Luang Temple<\/b>, a paradigm of temple building of Lanna. The temple itself is prominently sited on a hillock surrounded by a wall. The entrance arches, called Pratu Khong, are adorned with fine plaster designs. The wall-less main Vihan houses a bronze Buddha statue called the Phra Chao Lan Thong. To the back is a golden Chedi in Lanna architectural style containing a Holy Relic. Also in the back is another Vihan with beautiful murals on wooden walls, said to be the oldest in the North. Proceed to \u00a0 \u201c<\/span>Sukhothai Province<\/b>\u201d visit \u201c <\/span>Sukhothai Historical Park<\/b> which was the first capital of Thailand from 1238-1365 A.D. after visiting, I will then transfer to a hotel for check-in and have dinner.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Day 5: Sukhothai \/ Ayutthaya \/ Sampran (475 KM)<\/h5>

Breakfast at the hotel. Before departing from \u201c<\/span>Sukhothai Province<\/b>\u201d you\u2019ll visit<\/span>. <\/span>Wat Mahathat<\/b>,<\/span> Wat Srasri, Wat Sri Sawai<\/b>, where it is the one of the World Cultural Heritage sites, designated by UNESCO. Then proceed to <\/span>\u201cAyutthaya\u201d<\/b> which was the former capital of Thailand. You will visit the ruins of <\/span>Mongkol Bophit <\/b>\u00a0und\u00a0 <\/span>Wat\u00a0 Phra\u00a0 Sri-Sanphet<\/b>\u00a0 where\u00a0 it was the first temple ever built in Ayutthaya and it is over 600 years old. You will visit <\/span>Wat Yai Chaimongkol<\/b>, with its huge Chedi. In single-handed combat on elephant back, King Naresuan slew the crown prince of Burma in 1592. The Chedi was built in celebration of victory. <\/span><\/p>

Then drive to Sampran Riverside, late evening arrive at the hotel you will check-in for overnight and dinner.<\/span><\/p>

Day 6: Sampran \/ Damnoen Saduak \/ Maeklong Train Market \/ Bangkok (190 KM)<\/h5>

After breakfast start the first drive to\u00a0 the pear for a long tail Boat ride to the most Fascinating colorful floating market to \u201c<\/span>Damnoen-Saduak<\/b>\u201d. You\u2019ll see the local people and have a chance to tour the fruit and souvenir market. Then drive to a local <\/span>Sugar Factory<\/b>. <\/span><\/p>

Over there you\u2019ll take a tour of the local factory where you\u2019ll see sugar being made from coconut trees. <\/span><\/p>

Continuing to \u201c<\/span>Maeklong<\/b> Train Market<\/b>\u201d this market settled on the railroad of <\/span>\u201cMaeklong Train Station<\/b>\u201d for the whole daytime. The interest of tourists for this visit will be taken once the train comes to a standstill at station either once the train will depart from the station, all merchants will immediately move their goods from the railway road area and back again later. <\/span><\/p>

Afternoon transfer back to Bangkok city hotel or Airport.<\/span><\/p>
