Itinerary:

Start from Chiang Rai Airport, you are already at the airport by your guide expected, and from there to your hotel support.

Depending upon arrival time, you have the rest of the day at leisure and “Chiang Rai” on your own exploring. If time is available after arrival, visit “Wat Rong Khun”, a contemporary temple then continue to “Wat Pra Kaew” and a local market. Further transfer to hotel for dinner.

Overnight: Phowadol Resort and Spa (Standard room) or similar class ** arrive should before 13.00 Hrs **

Meal (1): Dinner at local restaurant

Breakfast at the hotel, drive to visit “Yao and Akha Hilltribe Village” then drive to “Doi Tung Mountain” to visit Royal Villa and Mae Fah-Luang Garden. En-route, passing through beautiful mountain scenery. View takes in a stunning view of Thailand, Myanmar and the Mekong Valley. Then straighten for sightseeing at “Mae-sai '' the Northernmost Thai town on the Myanmar border. Walk around the local market with the opportunity for shopping and visit jade factory.

Afterward, I visited “Golden Triangle '' before proceeding to the hotel in “Chiang-rai” for check-in at a hotel and dinner at a local restaurant.

Meals (2): Breakfast / Dinner at local restaurant

Breakfast at hotel. Depart from the hotel, arrive at “Kok River” and take a long-tailed boat along “Kok River” to THA-TON which is the river checkpoint village of Mae Salah. En-route take some stops for a visit at “Karen Hills Tribe Village”.

After boat trips, further to visit “Chiang-dao Cave” in the cave housing many sacred statues of Lord Buddha. Then continue to the village and check-in at “Hmong Hill-tribe Lodge” for overnight and dinner.

Overnight: Hmong Hill Tribe Lodge (Standard room)  or similar class

Location: 20/1 Soi 5, Nimmanhaemin Rd., Tambon Suthep, Amphur Muang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, 50200 Thailand

Meals (2): Breakfast / Dinner 

Breakfast at Hotel. Drive to “Maesa Elephant Camp” and watch Elephants taking timber in the forest. Their strength and strategic teamwork will amaze you. Continue with visit to “Orchid Farm” Throughout the year, you can see the flowers in full bloom splendor.

Afternoon visit to “Doi Suthep Temple” one of the most important, built upon a hill which is 1,050 meters above the sea level which here you have a nice view of the city. There after, take some visits to handicraft villages to see manufacture of lacquer-ware, spinning and weaving of Thai Silk and to watch how paper umbrellas are made. Proceed to hotel for overnight and dinner.

Overnight:  Duangtawan Hotel Chiang Mai  (Superior room) or similar class

Breakfast at Hotel. Depending on the departure time for the breakfast time for the Chiang Mai airport for your flight back to Bangkok.

  • Cancel 30 days before departure 10% on tour amount charge
  • Less than 29-20 days = 25% on tour amount charge
  • Less than 19-10 days = 50% on tour amount charge
  • Less than 9-4 days = 65% on tour amount charge
  • 3 days before departure to no show on the last day 85% on tour amount charge
